hack saga, ‘The World’ continues to deteriorate as the virus spreads out of control.
If you wanna check out my reviews for the previous entries, you can find them HERE (for Infection) & HERE (for Mutation).īut enough rambling, lets get into this review!!! This is a long journey I have decided to undertake, but I’m so excited to be one step closer to the conclusion!!! It’s a very unique RPG in that it tries to mimic the feeling of being an MMO while building this intense story that crosses over from the games into the Bonus DVDs we got with each entry.
#Dot hack infection ps2 soul blade series#
The final game in this series runs for over $200+ so I am lucky enough to have the whole collection. The games themselves are actually pretty rare and can usually only be found on eBay. Though we recently got a remaster of the GU series (a few years back), nothing much is said about that series’ predecessor. But the IMOQ series of games is something that is not as well-known in the Dot Hack fandom nor is it talked about a lot in the gaming fandom. Whether I am talking about the anime, the movies, the manga, the light novels, or the games, I love almost everything about the series. Those that know me, they know that one of my biggest passions is the Dot Hack series. So, the fact that I am writing a review for this game now is actually really exciting! So, I set the game down, went back to grind the very first game, and then eventually would pick up the series again in 2019 where I started over from scratch. Immediately I was met with a dungeon that was made to tackle solo…and without the proper equipment to do this task, I ended up in a loop of death by infection. Having gotten impatient with all the grinding I was having to do in MUTATION (because I did not fully understand the game mechanics back then), I decided to skip ahead and give OUTBREAK a try. Back when I originally bought the IMOQ games, OUTBREAK was where I finally got stuck. Dot Hack OUTBREAK is the third part out of four games created by CC2 & Bandai-Namco.
